I keep meaning to post these but then get distracted. Some of you may already have seen them on TMP but I like to show them off as much as possible by way of thanking Leon and the gang for such great figures and customer service :D

Very nice
Somehow they remind me of some 6mm Hail Caesar bases I saw the other day :P
Very nice indeed
Take care
Andy
Very nice, I particularly like the cavalry.
Nice work! :)
Superb work! 8)
Lovely figures, and a good match between the flocking and the cloth; why on earth those 2mm of visible base edge? It spoils a lot of careful and well-judged work.
cracking Stuff, loving the Freehand on the Shields 8) i too think they would benefit from thinner Bases though :-B :-B
:-bd =D> :-bd very nice work, I really like the dynamic layout of the figures
Thicker bases encourage other people to pick troops up by the base. I paint mine green so they don't stand out quite as much as these
That would help, certainly.

I was wondering what you were on about until I had a closer look at the village & spotted the graffiti :D
You know my methods, Watson....

You're wrong there Steve. These ones are a different size entirely. And they have 10mm scale figures on them. :D

That is my rationale as well sadly. I am a big believer in big bases as a way to protect my wee lads. Bad and repeated past experience.
Thanks for all the comments gents! :-bd
Wonderful work ! :-bd
Cheers - Phil
On one occasion I've had to handle the clumsy manipulation of my figures by cutting someone from my list of opponents. Since he'd raised me from one to two no trumps with a one-point hand recently, I wasn't sorry to see the last of him anyway.
Excellent work 8). Might even inspire me to finish off my stuff... :-\ ;).
Very inspirational, I play Dux in 28mm but these 10mm look more like a warband than a collection of individuals.
What do you do about distances converting 28 to 10mm, reduce down to cm?
On the basing front I prefer thin bases and find 0.8mm steel perfect.
They are *very* tasty! Inspiring :)
Very nice indeed! I too use 2mm bases for the very fact of clumsy hands getting too close... My ones...

Dux Bellorum uses base widths as the standard measurement unit, so the only important factor is that all of my foes also use 60mm wide bases.

Excellent figures, IW. And the village is superb. :-bd

I play Dux Britaniarum not Bellorum, not to self, read the topic PROPERLY 8-}
Looking very good indeed. Unfortunately my 10mm Dux Britanniarum is on the backburner while I sort out Bismark's Wars. Dux Bellorum however is alive and kicking, but in 28mm for me.
Great figures, hope I get to that standard eventually!
Thanks guys. Their Irish foemen are now done as well! http://www.pendrakenforum.co.uk/index.php/topic,10302.0.html (http://www.pendrakenforum.co.uk/index.php/topic,10302.0.html)
