I'm about nine miles from Newcastle. I'm afraid I don't drink anymore though. Probably because I live nine miles from Newcastle!
Canterbury is one of the most agreeable towns in the UK. And I say this although I loathe Chaucer.

Hi Seb,
Welcome to the forum.
I am from the UK, but we have members from all over the world, some live in their mother countries, some dont. You will slowly work out who lives where and where they come from from the banter on the forum, but we have to give but a few examples.
South Africans who live in Thailand
Germans who live in Scotland
English who live everywhere (We did get about a bit in previous centuries).
We even allow the welsh to join !!!! ;D
Cheers
Mark

Unfortunately, I HAD to move a dead one a couple of weeks ago, to have it collected by the knackerman....S*dding heck......It weighed more than I do (Mrs Techno didn't want to help, as the carcass had just started to 'hum' a bit.)
The expression 'dead weight' is very apt.

Awwww......And I was just going to volunteer to crowbar a particular range into my schedule....Never mind eh ?. :P
Cheers - Phil
i didnt find the meaning of "nafad" .... sorry im supposed to be celtic :p
"Where's my sheep?" - the d in dafad mutates to n after the possessive fy. Here's another fine example - Father = Tad; My father = Fy nhad. Thank god for Latin and Anglo-Saxon eh?
ok :0
And to further complicate matters that f is pronounced v. You only get an English f sound in Welsh with ff.

I just meant that I felt totally outclassed as a human being!
Nice try at advancing backwards, FK, but no coconut.
Seb,
You'll have gathered by now that the members spend a great deal of their time mocking each other. So long as you realise it's only in fun you won't go too far wrong. :-bd :-bd :-bd
No, really, some of my best friends are Welsh, they're lovely people, not at all what you'd expect, you'd be surprised....
Baaaaa, humbug!
;D ;D ;D
Dearie, dearie me ! ;D ;D ;D
