I've been hard at work painting today. Whilst prepping some Zombie fodder, I dropped the figure and in an attempt to catch it, stabbed myself in the leg with a craft knife.
I'd like to define injuring oneself whilst engaged in modelling or wargaming as "doing a Techno".
Ow! You okay? :o
Yeah, hardly drew any blood. Do you think I'll get wargaming superhero powers? I could be "Pendraken-man"!

We'll it is so much better than being " other more brittle 10mm figure maker" man. At least your bayonet won't snap off! :D
Mollinary
Were you prepping tanks? You could be The Centurion!
A similar thing has happened to chaps at work, dropping scalpels into their thights right up to where the blade joins the handle. Not nice and awkward to get to heal quickly.

How did you know ?
Have you got your spy cameras working again ? I cut myself twice yesterday..(True)..Firstly with a blunt penknife, which slipped....And on the second occasion, I managed to stab myself with a pair of scissors. (More accurately, I brought my fingers down hard onto one of the upturned blades....Ho Hum ! :-[ :-[)
Ian's right.....I shouldn't be allowed near sharp implements.
Cheers - Phil.
Been there, done that. Managed to get both legs with an Exacto knife. My brain's like our vacuum cleaner, if it gets too hot it switches off....
