Title: Commissioning a 10mm painter
Post by: Urbinoprince on 06 June 2014, 05:21:38 PM
1. Where you would place your advert?
2. What questions would you ask?
3. Any suggestions on standard/exceptional painting rates?
4. Same on basing?
5. If this is not the proper forum to solicit a painter, would you give out your personal e-mail address here?

Hi

There is a good 10mm yahoo group which you could place an advert

You could ask on TMP as well in their Painting Services section

Most painting services will have a website of some description that will have an email attached to it

On the Pendraken Forum there are PM's for you to contact people privatly and vice versa without giving away personal info on the forum itself

Hi,

I am a professional painter, I have painted lots of 10mm for both myself and clients and would describe myself as a good wargames standard painter - I also think my style suits smaller figures. My details are below - lots of photos on Flickr and on the website and you can PM me through this forum or email me via the address on the website, where there is also a mobile number. Prices are on the website as well.

I hope this is helpful,

Kind regards,

Richard

Many thanks for the heads up - it seems there is an issue pointing to the IP address, which should now be fixed, but may take up to 48 hours to kick in. I'll keep on it.
