Hi everyone!
here are my first figurines of this conflict too little seen on our gaming tables (in France anyway), and that's a shame because it does not lack panache I think ........
To begin with, a first pikemen Spanish Tercio ........ musketeers and arquebusiers follow soon ..... and a first general with the following ..........

sorry for the very poor quality of my English, Google translate is not necessarily the top, but it still allows me to share with you!!

To be honest, even with Google translate my French is awful. Good work sir. 8)

I hope those mean the samein French and English ;D
Keep going, Sir. :)
thank you all, this is very encouraging!!
Very nice paintjob monsieur!
lovely.
Excellent work, Eric. You know you can use the English Civil War figures as well for the period?
Thank you!
fortunately ECW range is used because it is more complete, the figures shown here are part elsewhere
my first choice was to ECW, but I also wanted to Army doctrine and tactics for different wealth games ......... and then that would withstand a beautiful Polish army with its magnificent hussars?? ....... but priority to French as a first step! and the formidable Spanish tercios hahaha!!

Ah, the tercio takes shape. Bravo!
Wonderful!
Nothing beats the look of a Spanish Tercio in the field with its sleeves deployed and banners in the midst of massive pike-blocks!
More please!!!
Cheers,
Rob
Mmmm, you wield a wicked paintbrush. :)
