Title: 10mm WW2 blog
Post by: marshall1945 on 28 May 2014, 07:37:45 PM
Hi all

just started a blog last weekend for my 6mm (sorry!) Napoleonics and 10/ 12mm WW2. I use a range of makes and as I started when I came across the Takara plastic ones in Taiwan I have lots of them but also plenty of Pendraken and other makes. My first major WW2 post is on US tanks which are mostly Takara but I will be adding to it in the coming weeks and will be a lot more variety - virtually every gun I have uses Pendraken crew. Also a post on hedges which me be of interest

cheers  :D

Loads of good stuff on there.

The 6mm buildings work very well against the tanks.

Very nice, Steve. The 6mm Napoleonics are exceptional.

Nice work Steve.  It opens up the issue that many of us wargame in 6mm as well as 10mm, and do interchange a lot of scenery items. Manufacturers might wish to make a mental note of this.  In particular with respect to roads and bridges, as the base of the 6mm needs relatively a lot of room.

Thanks for the comments guys.

I have just posted on decals - where to get them and how to apply. I had a request from someone in America to do so but hopefully of use to people

I have just added a post on a US combat engineer platoon. The engineer figures are all Pendraken - although I have painted up Airborne and Marines as normal infantry to give a variety of poses
