Title: Painting horses
Post by: FierceKitty on 26 May 2014, 12:21:27 PM
Since you probably share my profound boredom with painting horses, gentlemen (and the rest of you), this might be a useful item to glance at:

   http://majnouna.deviantart.com/art/Guide-to-Horse-Colors-and-Patterns-243666224

And remember to paint a Sioux army at least once in your life, where the horses get to wear warpaint too.

Greetings

Thanks.  I was looking at New Forest ponies yesterday thinking about painting horses - many of these chesnuts had noticeably lighter manes and tails.

Regards

Gosh, I'm having a good week. Everyone's so friendly, and the people at the Vietnamese Embassy were very helpful about my visa. :)

That is a great resource - thanks for that. I will keep this one secret and safe though: where I see a painting guide, daughters would see a let's-get-one-of-each-collecting-guide  :D

I thnk your being very mean to your daughters.  After all is that not what you do as a wargamer.  OOH shiny shiny - not sure I need a unit of  those , but I must have them.   :)

I think someone should print it out and post one each to your daugthters with "Collect the set" written on the top in black marker. :d

It has two ears, a heart, a forehead and a beak for eating honey
