Love those old films. Also love old architectural models, scratch built of card and so on.

Sadly it is too expensive to make models by hand 99% of the time. What took a month to make in the 80's can now be built overnight on a rapid prototyping machine. At least there are the odd times when traditional skills are still required.

If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!
