Greg Novak's orginal variants for both AWI &  FIW are available in the files section of the vnblist on yahoo groups; there are also a number of posts from Greg that clarify and expand on these.

I have compiled these into the set we use and am happy to email the two word documents to anyone who sends me a personal message with there address. Note that while the document is fairly comprehensive standard Volley & Bayonet provides the foundation and you should have a copy.

Fantastic game, Paul.  I liked the running comentary.
The ebb and flow gave the game a lot of drama.

The rules, a V&B variant,  play very well and give a really interesting game. The smaller forces, which are growing as my painting progresses, leave plenty of scope for maneuver. We are all still learning how best to use the various troop types which are significantly different from their Napoleonic equivalents.

We have had four really good games and are looking forward to many more
