FK, I'm planning to do all combatants in NE Africa in time, it's just a freind of mine asked what he could use for Italians.  As they weren't next on my list I hadn't looked into what was available.

Which of the Askari types would be the best match?

If I ever get to finish this project, I'm off to cental Asia for the Great Game.  The Russian side of it though.

You can use the GEA1 Early Askari from the WWI East Africa German range or just use the Sudan Egyptians for the Italian Askari
