If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

Um. Is it just me (don't all shout "yes") but does is 1 hour just not enough for these programs?

Can't say I learned anything much, but it was very pretty.  It's like "the Plantagenents".   :(

It was very similar to the first episode of the P's.
Not bad, but I think fsn's right about the time allocated.

No I agree, needed a lot more time

Or a bit less. I found it dragged a bit in the middle,  couldn't really find it's preferred level of detail.

I did find Matey's shots to camera, while driving along (French ?) country lanes, a bit strange....But that's being over 'picky'.

I learned loads.  These aren't aimed at people who have already read the subject.
I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain why you are wrong.

I found it flagged and lost its way as well IMHO. I know very little about this period, but found the Plantagenets much, much better.

As a lot of the places the presenter visited were the same as in the first (at least) episode of the 'Ps'......Did the camera crew kill two birds with one stone and film them back to back......Or did they go out twice ? ;)
