I think my favourite series was the one Terry Jones did on the Crusades
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

Just watched and thought it very good. Started falling asleep towards the end after a busy day, but will re-watch when more awake :D.
