19th century rules

I have been looking around for a satisfactory set of rules for the mid 19th century and have yet to find one. I was interested to see several contributors to this forum recommend the Neil Thomas rules and bought the book. It gave food for thought but I wonder if they could be used with armies that are more than ten units strong. Ideally, I would like a set that would lend itself to solo wargaming as well as to the more sociable sort of play I'd be pleased to hear of any suggestions,

Can't speak for Black Powder as such, but I have really been enjoying Hail Caesar (the ancients set by Warlord) which uses the same basic mechanics.

For Corp level or higher then Volley and Bayonet, Black Powder or Clash of Eagles.

Arts Cow produce some Field of  Battle C19th specific card sets covering France, Austria and Prussia with some very evocative illustrations on them; reccomended!
