hi, looking for advice on which figures to use
the brigade is as follows
1st Battalion 500 men
2nd Battalion 500 men
Jager Battalion 150 men
Scharfschützen Company 150 men
Hussar Regiment 550 men - was thinking french hussars
Uhlan Squadron, - austrian uhlans
attached to above 80 men
Light Battery 80 men
2 6pdrs, 2 howitzer- french 6pdrs and foot crew

any advice and guidance greatly appreciated

Main problem I would have thought would be the plume on the shako.

if i can get the uniform close i was thinking green stuff plumes

In 10mm you would probably get away with a wire former and run some superglue gel on it to give it some body.

Hi Ciaphas (Jon).
I like your project as I am a great fan of the Schwarze Schar!
It's a great little corps of all arms and has some high tech gadgets to boot.
The Jager Battalion you mention was actually just another musket-armed line infantry formation being thrown together as the little army passed through the duke's old territories and wore the same uniform as the first two battalions.  The new Pendraken 1809 Austrian Hungarian Fusiliers, NPA6, would probably do the job with a little help from the old green stuff.  The bell topped shako already has a plume, rosette and oak leaf that would easily support a wee dab of putty for your horse hair plume.  The figure also is clean at the front to build the skirts of the litewka coat.  The only drawback is the kit which should be different from the Austrian issue.
For your Scharfschützen, you can use the Austrian jagers, NPA9, as you will only have to remove the plume and rosette from the hat and you're good to go but use one of the Fusilier officers.
The Hussars and Uhlans can be from the Austrian 1809 line as well.  The hussars didn't have a pelisse until they transferred to English service but nobody, I would hope, should nit-pick on this issue, especially in this scale.
For the artillery I'm a little stumped.  Without the pictures it's hard to tell.  The Austrian gunners do not work at all but I would choose to use Austrian guns as the force was equipped in Austrian territory.  Your note about French guns is the first I've heard of it.
The scharfschützen were also equipped with 25 windbüschen, an Austrian secret weapon air rifle with a range of about 200 paces, used to pick off French officers.  Napoleon ordered that all enemy soldiers so equipped, if captured, should be shot on the spot!

smokie it turns out the french guns is only relevant for 1815. oops on my part.

spoke to simon at redline and have solved some of my problems.

hope to get this project sorted soon, as it isn't a massive force.
