Pet Paint hates

Well guys I have a bunch of 15mm Russian SYW to paint but the green uniform is doing my head in,
any body else having problems like this.....

Your other problem is that they didn't actually wear the green coat to fight in; they stripped down to a scarlet jacket.

 having just finished the last of a 15mm 72pt HoTT Orc & Goblin army I can feel your pain as far as the colour green goes, I never get as depressed painting other colours, maybe its just something about green.

Vallejo British Uniform Khaki. Absorbs my brown ink, then highlights are khaki. Sick of it, just completing 200 plus brown figures...

Yes....I get fed up with looking at green putty all the time !

Thanks, then I will paint half in red that should ease the pain......

Only during summer.  On summer campaigns the green coats were left with the baggage, and each man issued with a cornflower blue cape to deal with summer rain.  This was also worn in winter over the green coat to cope with the worst weather.
