Hi Folks

I got a large pile of figures from a pal recently, mostly inteded for WW1 but there are some odds that I can't ID at all.

Can any of you help please ?

F - could be from Boer War range but not a Boer

R & S - again could be Boer War but ???

M & N - I think these may be WW1, possibly ME1 Imperial infantry

O, P & Q - don't match Zulu war or Boer war figures I have seen - could they be BW5 ? or what ???

fred.

Some of those look more like Minifigs due to the slender build?

F used to be, but has been replaced.

M & N are the Australians in the Middle East range (ME2).

O, P & Q are the German troops in the same range (ME15), which will probably be getting replaced.

S is the Australian cavalry (ME5), but I can't find R anywhere at all.

What did F used to be then ?

I found another illustration claiming to be ME2 here

http://www.deepfriedhappymice.com/html/figrev_sy_pendalh_10mm.html

and it has adifferent illustration of the Aussie cavalry - similar, but different.

I'm assuming only 2 poses plus officer per pack - could these be packs with more than two poses in them ?

R&S were packed together when I got them but they may be different sets.

Germans - good one, hadn't thought of that possibility.

Thanks for the help Leon but still confused as I have other figures claiming to be those you say. I'll post the other pics later and see if I've IDed those wrong.

If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

Hello ,
F is the old Pendraken WW1 late German Askari which have been replaced by newer sculpts, I have a couple of packs still.
R could be Boer mounted

Cheers

R certainly looks more Boer than anything else (could be ACW Confederate?).

Hi again

Here is the full image of those figures I wasn't clear about before looking around various sites. I thought that I'd identified some but I may have got them wrong.

Any help in confirming or correcting my thoughts/guesses would be much appreciated.

Here are my current thoughts with info from earlier in this thread added ....

A, B & C - Australian Cavalry ME5 (but may not be if Leon is right about R being that set)

D & E - ME26, but might be ME25 (or might be both ?)

F - old late war askari

G, H & I - AN1 Anzac inf

J, K & L - Aussies ME2 ... but Leon says M & N are those so what are they or, if they ARE ME2 what are M & N ?

O, P & Q - ME15 German Colonials

R & S - still not much of a clue. I have painted Boer cavalry and these don't match any I painted but I don't know the codes of those I did - they may be a code I wasn't sent to paint. They won't be ACW as the guy who sent me them didn't do that era.

T, U & V - I had these down as Foreign Legion but really I haven't a clue - they may not even be WW1.

Any help much appreciated

Tony

They're the Arab legion from the WW1 Middle East range.
