I've just discovered the existence of Dropzone Commander Cityscape while looking around the internet... Does anyone know this product? Is it just the freely downloadable building files pre-printed? Is it worth buying?

Looks useful for a variety of modern/SF projects...

Its good stuff, but very expensive. Rules are good.

Hi,

Our gaming group has used a friend's set for urban games of Epic.   Great stuff.   You just have to
weed out the taller buildings.   You can see a pic here of four of the buildings (ignore the grey tops
and 'desert style') :

I think we will be using the buildings again on Friday - I will try and take a few more pics.

Cheers,

Looks good. They do look like the downloadable buildings pre-printed - are they all multi-story, or are there some lower ones? I think you only get 20 in the box...

There's also a box of 'ruins', but as far as I can see it's the same buildings with smoke damage. Might be better for a battlezone. I can certainly see my Heavy Gears wandering around there. Maybe even a few Kaiju...

Wow! That looks great, perfect for a modern conflict.

Thanks chaps.   The buildings aren't mine but owned by a gaming buddy (so I
don't have access to take more pics today).    :(

From memory, most are pretty large, multi-storey efforts.   Thats why we tend to
include the old Epic buildings (with grey, plastic roofs) which are much lower / smaller.

I must admit that I do prefer the Epic buildings (as they are made from much thicker
card and very sturdy).

I do, however, really like the 1" sq cityscape tiles (which are all double-sided).   Very
atmospheric.

The only pics I do have at the moment are from some old games.   These are here :
