Rather than have our current flags with order type on for TCHAE I am looking at bases. Suggestions please building on below

ATTACK - Charging men (ACW1 or 2) OR Command Advancing (ACW14): On Triangular base
MANOEUVER - Marching on Square base
HOLD ????
ENGAGE - Firing on strip base with 3 points (like saw teeth, or 'row of houses')

Each base will be labelled along the back

In addition status markers

Fightin' - I am using a dead man on a penny
Defeated - Stretcher bearers, mounted on 2p
Rout - ????
Pursuit (of routers) ???? [
Disordered - Jiggle the bases?
Surprised ????
I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain why you are wrong.

HOLD : May be a trapezoidal, with a small line firing ?

Based on our last game:

ATTACK - Dead men on Triangular base
MANOEUVER - Dead men on Square base
HOLD - Dead men on a round base
ENGAGE - Dead men on strip base with 3 points (like saw teeth, or 'row of houses')

How about:
HOLD - kneeling figure. There are some in the foot firing packs
ROUT - ???? - can you remove the weapons from figures in the advancing packs?
PURSUIT (of routers) - an enthusiastic advancing Command figure. The Confederates look good but the Union are not quite so enthusiastic
SURPRISED - I'd go for some of the artillery crew. In the artillery firing packs there are some covering one ear and look like they are cowering a bit (remove the pole) or in the artillery aiming packs there are figures peering which could be looking surprised.
Sadly no longer with us - RIP (2018)

If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!
