All good guys, I'm having a great time :D

I was very lucky and got a couple of basing sessions done, current batch now based :)
Just basing touch ups, shrubbery and varnish to do ;)

Base coated the new batch's jackets - 8 different colours, WW I was much simpler - only 2 colours ;)

No one has hazarded a guess as to the scenario for our demo game on 16 August :-/

Current batch basing touch ups and shrubbery done :)

Betsy Ross flag added to Kirkwood's Light Infantry :)

Flag I printed for Washington's Continental Dragoons is too big  >:( will have to reprint it on Monday when I have access to a printer  ~X(

New batch's jackets dry brushed, shirts and powder horns (some of the shirts were ivory so had colour out) done  :)

No :(.....I'm completely confused....(Totally normal sate of affairs, then !  X_X)....Are you planning an AWI or WWI battle, Paul ?
Guilford Courthouse ? Guessed he, waiting to be mocked mercilessly by everyone else.
(With confidence......I predict it's NOT the battle for Minas Tirith.)

Cheers - Phil

Ithoriel

It's the anniversary of Langemark (1917), Camden (1780) and Bennington (1777) - I'll go for one of those.

We are doing two games, AWI on the Saturday and WW I on the Sunday ;)

We will be doing Guilford Courthouse next year, if I get everything painted in time :)

The first one is too late, the last one is too early, the middle one is just right :-/ @-) ;D ;D

First attempt at glueing Washington's standard was a disaster, paper bent too sharply and white broke through the ink >:(

Fortunately I had printed and 'weathered' more than one ;) Second attempt went much better :)

Varnished today and even got some pictures taken :) Just need to post process them :!!

Get you priorities right !
Tell those who are abusing your good nature, that there's an impatient old git, the other side of the World , waiting to see some more pictures of your soldiers.  ;)

1st & 3rd Continental Light Dragoons

Tradition says that Washington's standard was made by Jane Riley Elliott at her father's Sandy Hill Plantation, from a square of crimson damask from a drapery.
