Ok, I'm starting to think ahead to my next incursion into era's periods I haven't considered before or have very little knowledge of as I really enjoy the research side of putting together armies.

The RCW range seems a little small so I'm guessing many of the WW1 codes might be quite useable?

Anyone else gaming the RCW and what codes have you used to represent various troop types?
I don't think my wife likes me very much, when I had a heart attack she wrote for an ambulance.

Howdy Nosher,

Yes, I game RCW using the Perfect Captain's free download rules, "Red Actions" and I modify them using "Pigmy Wars".  PW are Red Actions cleaned up a bit with a few additions.

Basically all the WW1 Russian codes I use for both sides. AND very sly of Mister Dave, he has some RCW codes now that I use, RCW1-4.  For the Check Legion I used the German GP1, 30 & 31.

Of course, all the allied troops, British, French, and USA would be in their late war dress. And use the ME codes for Armoured Cars for both sides . .  and . . . the French - F9 - Renault 17, (new) F23 White Armoured Car  and British BP25 - MarkIV 6pdrs Male tank.

But really and vehicle in the WW1 range could be used for RCW along with most infantry types for the allies to both sides of the RCW.

Really a cool in between war period where both sides almost looked the same and to spice up the variety are the countries that fought in WW1 that sent troops and vehicles after WW1 ended.

Check out "Red Actions" and have fun, especially in 10mm, building armies IS so COST effective  ;D

Oops, found it just before I left  ;D

Here's the like to Pigmy Wars, a site about the war in the East, very good resource material can be found here along with his rule mods for Red Actions.
