Chain of Command : russian front, 3 players

one of my friends wanted to test this game, so we had a game of Chain of Command with 3 players.
I was lucky ! ( unusual for me !  )

I also wrote how we handle 3 players. It worked very well.

yes, I was lucky and I had a plan. This game needs ro think about plans.
I was very disapointed with this T-70.. realistic event ?

Nice game, Ronan, However, as far as I can see the T70 was little more than a stopgap, pending the arrival of more T34s, and was probably only produced as long as it was because it would have been more trouble to stop. Having said that, a single tank in an infantry action is always a hostage to fortune, unless it's something really tough.

The T-70 was apparently built in factories that couldn't re-tool to build T34s, as a way to boost tank numbers and to keep the factories productive.

The T-70 was, for a tank, small and fast with good, well-sloped armour and a decent 45mm gun. On the downside it's crew of two meant that the commander was loading, firing, commanding the tank, spotting for targets all while trying to keep tabs on what the rest of his formation was doing. As a result unit tactics had to be pretty basic.

As a recon vehicle the T-70 was fine but as a main battle tank it was just better than nothing, which was the alternative.

It's not so much a tank as a tracked armoured car!
