Somewhere their is a picture of a German paratrooper re-enactment group with a gentleman of a similar size. Similar to ladies of a cerain size that feel a Xena costume is the right LARP costume for them.

In the lancers we had 3 women riders but would explain to the public that there are more women riders in the country than males it was easier to find them and if they wanted 8 riders then theyy could jolly well lump it. larp/airsoft you can get away with it but re-enactment I feel is a little different. I can't quite put it into words why.

The reenactment guy isn't helping himself though by wearing that helmet at an angle that makes him look like he's wandered off the set of some lost Laurel and Hardy short where Stan and Ollie infiltrate the Luftwaffe.
