French Indochina War figures

Hello everyone,

Is there anywhere on this forum where I can find photo's of the above please? Yes I've checked the website but only three piccies appear.

I'm asking this to save me the time going through all 36 pages of posts.

The reason I'm asking is I'm looking for figures that might be suitable to use as crew for the STCAN/FOM river patrol boats also known as RAG (River Assault Group) boats that I want to make in 1/144th scale. Hopefully a photo of the boat is attached below.

I've had a coupla go's at making a card model without success but I'm not giving up. Why card you ask? well I can rescale the parts to any other desired scale.

Hello RogerP

You can use the search function in the forum, just under the 'User Info' Box. Make sure you're searching all the forums or you can use Advanced Search to target specific sub-fora like 'Photos'.

If nothing there then the best way I've found to get images of Pendraken figures is to use Google Images, type in a request, ie 'Pendraken Vietnam' or 'Pendraken Indochina', and it usually brings at least some pictures of what I want to see.

Those bottom two photos are mine, and they're US Vietnam range, not French Indo-China.  I did post some pics for French Indo China, but they were actually US Paras and Brit Rifles and Stens w/slouch hats that I painted up.  I'm hoping to receive an order of the actual French paras soon; I'll post some pics once I get them.  Actually, I did have one pic of actual French; it's the 75mm recoilless rifle pack.  Look under the 'photos' topic.

You're quite right, in the rush to show off, I picked the wrong photos. A lesson to reply when I have time instead of rushing around.

    Those figs at TinyTroops are magnificent!  I can only pray mine will look half that good.
