Good luck to him

Is it a big operation?....I am presuming by the title it is something to help him hear?

If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

Cheers chaps

I have had my stapes replaced in my left ear- a small but important part of the hearing mechanism - links below for the curious. I had the right ear done 5 years ago and that worked a treat.

All went well and I am  back home but now wide awake after spending most of yesterday dozing. Happily I am in no pain  :D
Surgery went well, the consultant twice told me how he thought it one of his best, nice bloke even if a bit smug - but there again he has probably earned that right twice over  :) - I still struggle putting wheels on Pendraken artillery  :(

All I can say is that I love our NHS, top of my list of things that make me proud to be British :-bd

Glad yours went well Nosher it's good to hear well

I think those who have never lost their hearing can never truly appreciate the gift they have. So wear those ear defenders even if they are sweaty ;)

All this and signed off untill 14th October - extended toytime for Sandinista  :D :D :D :D

Cheers again
Ian
