Thanks all... have decided that I will shelve my 15mm project after Derby... I have spent the best part of 2 years amassing a MASSIVE WW2 Soviet army and building a very large ruined city... one final purchase at Derby and then into 10mm full bore.. any tips on painting styles for 10mm??? heard a few people recommending drybrush technique.. I usually basecoat in black and use a series of layers and washes...

Photo, photo, photo of the city please  :)

As for painting 10mm: I spray black or white (depending on the army/mini etc) and then drybrush the whole thing in base colour.

This creates a good foundation and also blacklines at the same time if you paint neatly.

I, like you, use washes extensively but, I think you will hear as many different opinions as there are members on the forum  :-\

I guess you just have to find your own way: 15mm isn't that much diiferent.
