Dave couldn't resist the temptation of putting some of the new vehicles together and slapping some paint on them!

This is the T54/55 with a first coat on, needs the tracks next and some detailing:



And then the traction engine, which has gone together really nicely.  After a bit of debate, Dave opted for a green and red combo on this one:

You were talking about ebay the other day I think you ought to look to selling the traction engines on ebay and other vehicles suitable for N guage model railways.  With a suitable price hike - You will see from the link they are selling traction engines for £12.60.  That is for a single unpainted model.

Nice traction engine...I dont know much about them , but ones I have seen always seemed to have some sort of large flywheel near the drivers compartment...Or are there different types?
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

Fly wheels come in different sizes, its on the other side, I finished painting it with bit of highlighting and touching up

'Fair enough...I think I was comparing it to my Mamod traction engine

I used to have one of them when I was a kid, meths burner at the back - wished I'd still kept it :(
