Great start, looking forward to the mounted types. The sculpts look as good as some 15's I have seen.

Agreed: you have to actually reming yourself of the scale Phil's working in.

Bloody Brilliant!!!

Leon

There came through from Techno last week, and have already been master moulded.  The sculpts will be going back down to Phil, ready for conversion to the Medium and Heavy cavalry types.  We're still hoping to get them ready for November, so we'll work as hard as we can to hit that target.

Light cavalry with bow:

Light cavalry with lance and bow:

Light cavalry with sword:

(ignore the red putty, this is just a feed to help with the first stage of moulding)

Hope you like them!

Really nice

Is the Genghis figure ready yet?

Come on Techno, you know you khan sculpt quicker than that
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

Riders look really nice - I like the bow and spear chaps most

Will there be some more horse poses, these seem to use the same 3 horses? Even a variation on the one with its front leg stretched out, were its leg is bent would add some variety.

We could maybe look at varying them very slightly, but at this stage the alternative would mean a delay getting more horse dollies done from scratch.

Duke Speedy of Leighton

Looking good gents, Love the life and fluidity in these, brilliant techno.
I agree about a little more variety in nags, but at least it won't be as bad as the old nineteenth century ranges.
