Very good, but should be viewed with caution. I read the article on German parachutists, which said they were "Army". Surely German para's were Luftwaffe?

The hermann goering division was luftwaffe

If You read the link i put on, you know i meant 'stated they were luftwaffe'

I messed it up  =)

Only case of other type fallschirmjaeger i know, are the SS parachute battallion (i think as information is kind of scarce on them)

I have to agree with fsn. Contemporary information, especially in wartime, can be very wide of the mark. I once bought Janes' Fighting Ships for 1914 thinking I'd get all the info on current dreadnoughts. Stupid boy....   :-[

Not that these account aren't valuable - they'd form an excellent briefing for a campaign. "This is what we know, chaps...."
