Whilst thinking about some Sci-Fi stuff (it's coming soon, honest!), I thought it might be worth getting some new civilians done to go into the Human/Alien side of the ranges.  So, how do people view their Sci-Fi civvies?

Buxom and skin tight.

Seriously, I'd like SF civvies not to be too exotic. Jump suits, baggy overalls, long coats, skirts of various lengths. They could probably pass for civvies today. Think "Outland", "Judge Dredd", "Alien".

But buxom and skin tight are good too.

Seriously, like the crew from alien. And maybe a pose in a pressure suit? for mining in off world colonies and the like?

Wulf

Not all armed. Or, at least, not all armed with assault rifles and plasma cannon. Not every SF game needs WMD armed participants.

HPFlashman

In Victorian garb, with pony carts, donkey et al. Perhaps a pack of correspondents with a tripod box camera and a laser engraving pens could be nice as well... :-\

Will be really nice as Moebious art, or another aproximation cyberpunk look.

Running and frightened civilians in my opinions, dressed in fatigues and work suit. Civilians are perfect target in combat zones so they needs to run fast  ;) Is possible to have any futuristic policemen and police cars too? Policemen are a great addition for civvies riot control, pulp-crime games and incoming Zombies.

Yes - agree with Ian here  :)

I like the Blade Runner, Firefly & Riddick looks:

I'm also a fan of Michael's 6mm sci-fi civvies (Angel Barracks):

Well, to answer the question directly, I'd go for either pulp sci-fi or slightly outlandish future fashion: kind of Fifth Element or Judge Dredd. However, this is because that's because I'm most likely to used them for role-playing in one of these genres.

Perhaps it might be better to look at the question from a different angle: what are you most likely to use a new range of sci-fi civilians for and in what genre?

Cheers!
