If you've been following my blog for a while you may have seen that I asked Techno to sculpt for me a 10mm Warrior Bishop to use with my English 100 Years War Army, and my forthcomming Crusader force. Thanks to Phil's incredible skill pushing putty, and Leon's easy going nature, mid week I had the pleasure of recieving in the post 10 of "my" Warrior Bishop minis, one of which has been painted up.

Having provided Phil with a couple of VERY rough sketches and a photo of another model that was similar to the look I was after, he has done an amazing job at producing a part that fits perfectly with the remainder of my Pendraken Army (the pics show him flanked by 2 monks from the Pendraken pack ELM37). This is the third time I have had a comission of this sort undertaken (previous ones were 28mm Argentines for a Falklands project), but I have to say Techno has really pulled it off, even pickign up on little details liek the fact that the helmet is in fact a stylised mitre which I hadnt realised until he pointed it out.

I am not sure yet if Leon is going to make the Warrior Bishop available to other customers (lets face it a Warrior Bishop is not exactly top of many customers shopping list), but regardless I am very happy to be the proud owner of my bespoke clergyman.

On the back of this I have asked Phil to sculpt for me one or 2 more Crusaders (very much as a background job when he needs a change of period), and have committed to myself to have another go at sculpting some of the easier minis I want to complete my Crusader force.

Cheers,

Craig

Very nice indeed 8). I think the inside surface of the shield could do with some colour to make it, and especially the cross, stand out more.
