ACW-20 Zouaves in kepi, advancing/attacking painted as 14th Brooklyn

The colour guard was given some selective surgery to keep from poking eyes out with the flag poles. 14th Brooklyn should actually not have the harem pants of zouves but slim fit chasseur pants, but this unit goes under the heading of "close enough".

The regimental flag in the photo is available at 14th Brooklyn – 14th New York volunteers. The national flag is modified from http://www.krigsspil.dk/download/acw/fed_11_var.jpg.
I'm about to embark on the fool's mission of setting up Battle of the Auroch Hills with 10mm figures as well as building a scale model of the battleground. Maybe next year.

I see a picture of the figures from the Pendraken webstore then the words "Turned into" then a note about the colour guard.

Clearly I'm missing something .... unless this is the wargaming equivalent of the "Mornington Crescent" game from Radio 4?

Found them. Very nice indeed. How I wish I hadn't invested squillions in 15mm ACW over the last 30 years, but the damage is done!

Excellent, Tobbe. Gotta love a big unit, especially a well painted big unit.  8)
