Hello All

You can't get a more specific topic than that!!

I was looking through some photos of Japanese SNLF in Shanghai, 1932 and, not being a knowledgeable type about Japanese weapons, I was wondering if anybody could give their opinions on suitable proxies for the artillery types shown.

The first looks like a mountain gun type, just wondering if any of the Boer War guns could do a passable imitation:-

The other looks heavier:-

Note the helmets, I may be able to do head swaps with British helmets for these types.

Also here's an interesting photo with an armoured car

Cheers, any info/guesses/suggestions appreciated.

Not entirely sure what RJ4 Russo-Japanese War Japanese Artillery consists of but I'd expect it to look somewhat similar to the top picture - anyone have a picture of that pack?
There are 100 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who can work from incomplete data

Hello All

No further progress on the artillery but I did find a page that deals with the armoured car:-

Apparently they were built within the Shanghai Concession and based on the Rolls Royce AC. There were at least 8 built in the 1920s and possibly another series built in the 1930s.

Incidentally does the JP33 Japanese 75mm field gun come with a separate gun shield? Could it be dragooned as the larger field piece?

Cheers
