Wasn't the Satan just an M4 with a flamegun in the turrent disguised as a conventional main gun?

This is the M3 version based on the Stuart, quick google reveals a new gun tube seems to be the only visible external difference though

For WWII the flame tanks in US service used the main gun tube - on the M3 Satan it isn't even a tube. Not changed until Korea, when Marines used M4/105 with the Co-ax replaced by a flame gun.
