My wife calls it Sons of Anarchy in boats
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

Is that any good?  It seems to be only available on Netflix, but I've seen trailers for it on regular TV.

Yes its excellent.  Can't wait for Series 2 ..   8)

I'm hoping to start playing in August (I've got two weeks on the canals to fit in) but the rules do look very promising. I think I'll start nice and early with the Saxon Shore. Being partly of Welsh extraction, and growing up in Llandudno I'm keen to take on the role of a somewhat miffed Romano-Briton who finds these uncouth Saxons a tad boorish. There is, however, a rather hairy member of the club who plays a fine aggressive game who is absolutely ideal for the role of a ruthless Saxon warlord. Should be fun/frightening.

We have played a load of games of Dux and it's great fun, hoping to start a proper campaign later in the year. If I hadn't already had a couple of hundred 28mm figures I would have gone for 10mm as well!

Thanks everyone. I'll post again when they are complete and try and improve the lighting. Should be finished later today or tomorrow. The levies are already based up and waiting to go.

Ready for battle - two warrior groups for the basic Dux Britanniarum Romano-British army. The first is in shieldwall formation.

The second is warriors in mass group using a Warbases Dux Britanniarum penny slot base.

DP - I have an idea why this isn't working for you. And unsurprisingly it is a photobucket issue, not a Mac issue.

In photobucket, when you view your photo, there is a section on the right, titled, Links to Share this photo. Click on the direct one (I think you have been using the IMG one). Then switch back to the Pendraken forum, and use the Insert Image button (the one with the landscape picture), this will put [ IMG ] tags in your post, then paste. This should put the code to link to the image in the post, and all should work.

I think you have been using the IMG option in Photobucket, which adds some extra URL tags which confuse the Pendraken forum software which is reading the square brackets as its tags.

Hope this helps.
