Though not sure if its a break, if you are working Casting up Moulds??

:D

I'm taking around 2 weeks off hopefully, but I imagine Dave will still be down here getting stuff done.  With him still working the day job, if he takes too much time off from Pendraken, he drops behind on things very quickly.

At least we know who's doing all the casting/moulding stuff, and who's doing all the chatting to customers!  :D

Though in all fairness, some Leon clones are working on the casting machines as well, or so I'm told.  8)

We could come and rescue you, Dave.

But we want Mongols and WWI, so really we like the outcome of you being chained to the machine  ;)

These arrived in December, but I've only just got time to get them uploaded here.  This batch contains a mixture of limber outriders, along with the German Hussars.  There's still a few more bits coming from the designer, but we've switched him over to the Napoleonic British, so that'll be it for the WW1 revamp for now.  The big job next is to get them all moulded up and released!

British Outriders (early/late):

German Outriders (early/late):

French Outriders (early/late):

Austro-Hungarian / Italian / Russian Outriders:

German Hussars:

Dismounted German Hussars (front and rear view):

Maximum paranoia on the corporate IT means I cannot see the images :( so will have to drool later when I get home....

Big Question then, is when are these and the other WW1 releases going to be available to order.  My German cavalry are waiting for the Kurrassier and Hussars (and I will have a pack or two of the new Uhlans just to mix in :))

They're all lovely sculpts but the Russian's hat is really nice. Could the German hussars be converted to anything earlier?

Far as I can remember it's a paint job on the uniforms for 1870-1914, and the French are also almost identical 1914-1870.

Does that Middle dismounted hussar have a bayonet on his carbine? Or is he just pleased to see me?  ;)

my eldest has been learning about WW1 at school. She came home today and told me how they'd learnt that the war started because a man went out to buy a sandwich. I kid you not. She couldn't remember who was shot and where just that a man was buying a sandwich (she is not thick either and is a model student). I'm in despair  :(.

Oh... and in English she learnt about bond girls

Matt,

This isn't the old Baldrick in Blackadder line about a bloke called Archie Duke shooting an Ostrich because he was hungry?   I suppose Ostrich and Sandwich have some similarities?  :)
