As for moulding and casting that would be down to Leon to make a call on. My guess is even if Pendraken wanted them they would be some way down the queue. But I think with the furs they could pass for picts, barbarians / Vikings? Etc

The standard bearer guy wouldnt easily mold, so I'll just paint him up for myself for now   :d If there is real interest and Leon is keen I am happy to turn my hand to creating Barbarian/Pict/Viking fur laden Saxon conversions of spearmen, archers, command figures Etc.

fred.

Really good job on these - the thinned down furs look much better.

Now please have a little chat with Leon about getting some cast.

The problem for Leon is the huge queue of masters waiting to be moulded. It costs money to have commercial moulds made and as he's stated in the past, the potential sales have to justify the cost. However, at the risk of being contentious dare I say that, for short runs and a handful of figures, home casting is not that difficult.....  :o
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.

Hi

I had an email conversation with Leon last night and the conversions can't be added to their range without infringing the agreement they have with the original sculptor. This is very fair given the talent that the likes of Clib, Techno and the others exhibit compared to me just adding a bit of GS.

So for now I will have to be the only one with a wolf inspired war band  :D

Cheers,

Craig

Just to pee you all off a little more  ;D , I ve painted the first of "The Fur Tribe" - The converted spearman into standard bearer

As you can see I went for Fox tails on the standard just for a little extra interest  ;)

I must stop messing  about with these conversions now, and get back to my finishing my French 100 Years War army. Ive only got two and a half bases left to paint and the army is finished!
