Hi

For those interested in the Chaco War or Interwar in general, there have been some aircraft released in Shapeways that will fill in the blanks:-

Now the Shapeways planes are done in sintered nylon but are apparently fine with an undercoat to smooth them off. May look at getting some if the horrendous postage rates from Shapeways to Australia ever improve  :'(.

Thanks Vic, these are neat looking models.  I have gamed the Chaco- its a good use of my Vietnam jungle.  I see Irregular have released a good looking range of 15mm Chaco figures.   What 10mm models would you recommend ?  On the cuff I see Pendraken SCW and even US Marine (the boony hat) types that would fit.

Yes the ubiquitous SCW Assault Guards would ride again under a different banner  :), and US Marines would be useful. I'd also look at WW1 Russians with the boots painted to resemble boots and gaiters:-

Do a search on 'bush hat' in the Pendraken page and it brings a large number of figures from the SE Asian ranges that could be dropped into the conflict with barely a ripple. Of course you'd have to not use the M-16 and AK47 types  :).

There also seems to be some variety in headgear even Wolseley type helmets, maybe drop a few WW1 Mideast Imperials in as well, or just use the heads.

For more conversions the WW1 Americans are ripe for work  :D, and of course the extremely handy WW1 German east African sailors can also ride again  :).

Cheers
