Hotz Felt Fields - speedy delivery

I just recieved 3 sets of Hotz flocked felt fields. They are really good.

I Ordered them on 19th march and they were here yesterday despite Eric telling me it might be 5 weeks.

The sets are $16 each plus $6 postage.  If you order  3 sets it drops to $14 a set

I strongly suggest you order them as individual sets to avoid getting charged VAT and the £8 the post office charges to collect the vat. See Example below :-


3  sets @ $14 = $42 plus $12 postage ( 1st set $6 postsge subsequent sets an additional $3)   payment to Hotz $54 approx £35

You will then be charged VAT @20% £7 plus £8 to collect the vat .   Total cost to you approx  £50


OR

3  Individually posted sets @ $14 = $42 plus $18 postage (3 sets at $6 a set)  payment to Hotz $60 approx £40   saving you  about £10

Good tip Orcs.....Specially about the 'handling charge' the PO charge for collecting the VAT. (I suppose for all the added red tape it involves, £8 would be about par for the course tho'.)
As I put in a post yonks ago now.....I got hit for the £8 charge when the PO were only due to collect just over £1 in 'tax'......OUCH !!
That DID make me say some very naughty words.

I have to say I found the comminications good, and he did warn me that it might take 5 weeks to arrive.
