Hello chaps and chapettes!

Hi one and all,

Can I begin by offering a big thank you to Leon and the Pendraken team for sending me a catalogue last week to look over as my internet was down, it's now my favourite book ever, it is dog-eared already!
I paint 6, 15, 20 and 28's and had never seriously considered 10mm until I was shown painted examples of the AWI range and was completely blown away, they look fantastic.
It is testament enough to say I had never taken any interest in the AWI until I saw the Pendraken range, in the last two days I have purchased my first book on the subject and uniform books are on the way, on top of that I've already scratchbuilt a 10mm log cabin to keep the troops warm when they get here - I am truly converted.
Needless to say I put in an order immediately and I'll soon have my grubby hands on a few hundred Brits/Brunswickers to start me off - woohoo!!

Not a great deal to say about myself, just a regular guy I s'pose, I collect, paint and occasionally build terrain but I hope to get to know a few of you and learn something while I'm here.
Once the figures are painted up (using the fine painters on this forum as inspiration) I'll share the pics, in the meantime I'll go and take a couple of shots of what I'm working on and get them posted tonight/tomorrow.

So, cheers for having me, it's a fantastic forum and I can't wait to get stuck in.

Hi Ry.  a new guy myself.. The forum's a great resource - I log on at least a couple of times a day.

Know what you mean about the AWI.  It had never interested me til Chad showed them to me on the internet.
