I haven't noticed one voice in her defence yet.
I don't drink coffee to wake up. I wake up to drink coffee.

I am beginning to wonder whether we should (maybe)..Kick this one into touch before it ends up getting too nasty and personal....and some bad feelings ensue ?
We don't want to end up with some sort of 'slagging off' competition, do we ?
Personally... I don't want members of the Forum falling out with each other because of differences in political views.
Just a thought chaps.  ;)
Let's keep Politics and Religion kept as far away as we can ??
Cheers - Phil.

You can't slander or libel the dead...
I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain why you are wrong.

Away from the politics, I did find it pretty funny that 'Ding-Dong The Witch Is Dead' from Wizard of Oz has actually re-entered the charts this week.

I think Phil wants to eliminate all interest in political/religious wars for when his new zombies come out!!

So 2 questions, when are those coming out, and will there be a tatcher one  :D

Very fair point Lud ! ;D ;D ;D ;D
It's just that I could see this eventually degenerating into something that set Forum members against each other....Which I don't want to see. ;)
I've even come up with a rather bad joke myself......But I'm not going to post it.  ;)....(It's not that good....But I was quite proud I thought of it. :P)

You shouldn't speak ill of the dead.

I wish Thatcher was still alive.

I assume for the selfish wish to speak bad of her  :P

I could easily step up to Defend Thatcher, but then I remember the ten years before her, even though I was young. I won't purely because this isn't the place for it.

I will however say one thing, because there have been some very obnoxious comments elsewhere on the web that I wouldn't want to ee repeatd here. Regardless of you views, Mrs Thatcher was someones mother, someones grand mother. How do you think they feel at the moment? How would YOU feel if people were discussing you mother or grand mother that way?

I remember what it was like before Thatcher too - and I'd go back to that in a heartbeat. See the blog post I linked to earlier in this thread for why.

And we know she was someone's mother - the odious little turd Mark Thatcher, who if anything, managed to turn out even worse than his mother.

Well if we're talking about cosying up to dictators...

I mean god forbid that anyone else should do such a thing!!
