Hi

Found a model of the 1/150 Chinese gunboat Zhong Shan from a Chinese model shop.

It's through Paypal so that may make it safer, I'll let you know how it goes. The model itself is cheap as chips (about 3 quid) but the postage is about 4-5 times as much  :o. But it still works out much cheaper than I can buy it for here. I arranged for it to be sent through Hong Kong Airmail.

I'll let you all know how this experiment goes.

Cheers

This is so bad, it doesn't even deserve a groan  :P :P.

They do also offer a wholesale service, might be worth looking at for Minibits  :-\ :-\ ?

Now to sit down and plan out actions on the Tz'ang Ye  (30s Imagi-Nations, maybe I can expand the Franco-Thai war into this  :-\ ) :D

For £3 ? (I know..plus postage)
Definitely worth a punt, even as an experiment Grumpy.
Be interested to see how this pans out.
There's some materials I've been tempted to try and order from China in the past, but I've always bottled out.
(Ultra, ultra fine glass paper to be specific...but I managed to find some in the UK nearly as fine eventually.)
Cheers - Phil.

What sort of dimensions are we talking about, Grumps? Must be fairly big at 1:150th?
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.

Here's a picture of the kit, I seem to remember that the box was 25cm by 20cm (this would mean about 10 inches long):-

It is just a gunboat after all.
