That's these things

Not hard to scratchbuild out of plastic or wood, but so much easier to just spraypaint.

Leon

We've actually had one of these made by member 'barbarian' so I'll check and see how it's getting on in the moulding queue.

I think it should be a Prague porcupine. Why pass on the chance of a bit of gratuitous alliteration?

Use you ears rather than your eyes and it doesn't work, sadly. Perhaps a Kolin caltrop, or a Kutna Hora caltrop, or a Kroměříž caltrop if you can get your tongue around it....
Prague palisade is easier. Brno barrier. Olomouc obstacle.
Shut up, Kitty.

If you ask Leon of Techno nicely, that have got Trouble with Tribbles, but don't know about Hedgehogs...

Fenton

Could you make them out of those cross shaped  tile spacers?
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

lentulus

Lots of ways to make them - I want ones I can dump out of the bag and spray.

You could always use these:

Hrdgrhogs came in many sizes, so no worries if they look taller. I don't think battlefront still makes them, but you can always ebay for"flames of war tank traps",

barbarian

In fact, not that many sizes.

I've found the notes of my grand-dad about his combat engineering class in North Africa and this was normalized. I recognize this would be from the US side.

But when the mass produced ones were out, they started to mock them up themselves, probably not to the standard i guess.

You're worrying about a standard field defence in 10mm? Reality check, guys!  :P
