Sigh...
Lay duvet on bed, top edge toward where you are standing.

Turn cover inside out.

Put hands in top corners.

Grab top corners of duvet

Shrug cover onto duvet.

Locate bottom duvet covers into bottom corners of cover

Grab corners and shake/flap until flat and full

Takes 5 minutes
I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain why you are wrong.

Thanks, LH. Seems simple enough. One question, and I mean no disrespect at all, are you built like an orangutan?

As an ex-librarian who was not metamorphosed into an orangutan by the magical tomes of Catherine Cookson, Jeffrey Archer or Barbara Cartland I find grabbing the corners of a Super King Size duvet something of a feat in itself. Plus shaking the assembled duvet and cover seems to simply result in the duvet curling itself up in the foetal position unless the corners are held in place with binder clips.

I don't understand why the cover doesn't simply zip up on three sides. That plus a loop on each corner of the duvet and corresponding buttons or toggles in the corners of the cover would make things so much simpler. Open the cover, lay bottom face down on a flat surface (there should be one conveniently nearby!) lay duvet flat on cover and button/ toggle duvet to cover, fold upper part of cover over and zip up. Arrange duvet and cover on bed, if not already in place, ensure duvet cover edge with no zip is at the head end of the bed.

A very sensible design, Ithoriel. Please obtain a patent, thus assuring that it will be pirated and I'll be able to buy one at the local WallyWorld in less than a year.

To recap. I said I'd like Amazons, Indians or Squidlings.
