Thanks.

My fault. I default to 1864, as it's the ones I've painted...

Well, I've managed to upset a Crown Court judge.
How are your week's going?

Exactly what I was supposed to do. The NHS did something, and the Court blamed me  >:(

My current, current project is (aside from the Napoleonic Swedes, Napoleonic Ottoman, WSS and Cold War Brits) is of course, a Scots army for the 2nd Bishops' War of 1640.

I decided that the army needed (as all Scottish armies after 1314 do) a little boost. I had a look, and Pendraken don't do what I needed, but by combining two products, and a little gentle application of a file, I have come up with a reasonable approximation.

I took the hull of an A13, and added the turret of a Crusader I - the result is supposed to be a Cruiser  Tank Mk V aka A13 Mk III aka the Covenanter - which seemed appropriate. I've done it in two tone grey, which I think the ministers may consider a bit flamboyant.

Hope it doesn't break down before it gets to Newcastle.

The hobby, as it should be fsn! Well played. The Scots army of 1513 could have done with a few Humbers as well. Since that army was pre-Knoxian, they could have blue, red, yellow and white livery with little criticism and much approbation.

Cool model - not quite sure how 1640 army gets a 1940 tank - but go for it!

Same way the Scots used V1's at Flodden.  :D

IIRC that particular V1 was fired from Flodden Edge toward the English and hit somewhere near Aberdeen.

Sorry Fred, but I have to correct you. According to  Zaloga in his book "Renaissance Rockets" Before 160O V1's were painted in the heraldic colours of their user, so Azure and Argent would appear to be correct for the Scotts at Flodden.

But that was only because those dsastardly, sneaky English MOVED! The Scots were all set up, in a lovely position, with the V1 pointed in the right direction, but the scunners thought they'd fight from somewhere else. Rude!

Indeed. The Royal V1 in Gules and Or was somewhat gaudy for my taste.

May need to add a Mk IV tank to my 1314 Scots.
