Come to think of it, what is a Zepplein?
Presumably a Scouse airship.

I type it as he said it.

It's a common alternate spelling of Zeppelin, much seen online :)

Not as bad as an American student I once had; she didn't know who Satchmo or George Washington were, at the age of 22.

Come to think of it, what is a Zepplein?

A flying trapeze for Jimmy Page to take the stage.

He's a bit old to use the stairway ... (I'll get my coat)

Techno.

You know your exploding sculpts? Can I just check you weren't using some "special" putty from Leon?

WH Smiths.

They do all sorts of colours, but I thought "Mermaid Glitter Green" was probably the closest to what you use.  :D

Apropos of absolutely nothing....

This morning the radio has been banging on & on about 'petrichor'....... (The smell that's in the air, when rain falls on dry and dusty ground, after a period of 'drought'.)

Supposedly, everyone thinks this is a wonderfully 'fresh' smell.

I can't stand it.....To me, it smells of something beginning to decompose....It doesn't smell 'fresh' at all....Just rotting.

I've never found anyone else that doesn't find it a lovely fresh 'bouquet'.

Anyone else find the smell a bit 'off'.

Well petrichor is the smell of geosmin in the soil which is a product of dead soil bacteria.

Humans are acutely attuned to geosmin/petrichor and it is theorised that in our evolutionary past it helped us find water and fertile lands in times of drought.

You are right that it smells a tad "dead" but most people are likely to consider it as smelling fresh due to the connection to water.

It sounds like the market square in the Frisian town of Zep.

I've ordered some badgers and foxes and deer and horses.  :D

I've also ordered some lions and rhinos and hippos and giraffes. Does anyone know (or can suggest) why?
