The test itself doesn't bother me in the slightest....apart from the fact that it'll mean half a day's work, or more, down the pan.  X_X
I WANT them to find some clots, or inconsistencies in the veins.....Then I know it can be controlled/cured with pills, rather than it being something 'sinister' which will need further investigating.

Seriously I hope all goes well and the successfully diagnose what the problem is without having to bugger about with you too much.

I thought you got DVTs from sitting on planes. It seems to me, friend Techno, that your life isn't sedentary enough to have got one that way.

My mother was a nurse in the 1950and learnt the following:
     Thrombosis - blood clot.
     Marital thrombosis - being married to a bloody clot.

She has frequently talked of people being afflicted by Marital Thrombosis.

Apparently I HAVEN'T got any clots in my leg......So that'll probably mean yet MORE tests.  X_X
I'm convinced it's the B/P pills that have caused this. (It's all happened since I went onto a second B/P pill....Too much of a coincidence ?)

Oh......FFS.......

Now they're referring me for a CT Scan.....Why don't we try the simple things first....Change my B/P medication....Give me some 'water pills'...so I pee the excess fluid from my body !

I SO wish I'd never given in and let them do a blood pressure test on me a couple of months ago....I've always had high blood pressure....Maybe that's my personal default setting.....(I'm not normal...you all know that !  ;D ;D ;D)

No wonder the NHS keeps saying it has no money. They send you for another scan goodness knows what that costs instead of changing your BP pills which will probably cost a few shillings!
