I just bought a really nice Sci-Fi ruleset, its UseMe by 15mm.co.uk and it rocks, simple rules for infantry/vehicles/offboard arty/orbital bombarment/drop troops etc, a full campaign system and solo play rules. Whats not to like? The price, I hear you cry! Well the price is a very reasonable £3.50, but be warned, buy the PDF version and print it at home, the printed version comes as an A6 booklet with rather small print, so unless your in your 20s with excellent vision printing it on A4 is much kinder to your eyes. Now all we need is Dave and Leon to come up with some Sci-Fi tanks/troop carriers/jet bikes/drop pods and all will be well on whatever planet your tyring to conquer.

I have been eyeing their zombie and wild west rulesets, and considering the ww2 one for small skirmish games. How would they work with 10mm? I have decided to make all further purchases at 10 mm, as all the cupboards are full, and the thought of needing only one scale of scenery that i can use throughout the collection satisfies me  :D

I might try something in 3 mm though, but there scenery is no problem, i can just store the monopoly houses back in the kids box  ;D

The USE ME system is great, I play the Zombie Dawn rules whenever I can, and will be branching out with the scifi and fantasy versions soon for my 15's.

My plan is as soon as the pendraken zombies come out, I'm going to play a large campaign with the larger uber battles (zombies vs armed forces etc) with the 10mm, while the other group survivor stuff with my 15mm!

I would think Peter that from the posts on PMT that all the rulesets work similarly with period specific tweaks to them, and from reading the Sci-Fi one that there would be no problem using 10mm for them, it might in fact look better, shame that Leon and Dave have such a tiny range of Sci-Fi vehicles. That would be a hint Leon.  ;) ;) ;)

Be careful what you wish for with these guys, it may very well come true. A giant bare breasted Amazon mounted on (not by) a giant robot camel, well, what the hell, why not!
