See for me it's like Classic Dr Who. Are the sets perfect? No. Do the Aliens look fab? Not usually. Are all the actors top? Nope.

But it's the idea, the background, if I wanted a peace of are as a model, personally I would go for 25mm+ model. The reason I like 10mm so much is that the idea of these little guys being an army, feet pounding through mud, the zip of bullets over head, the explosions of mortar fire.

So the slight increase to 15 and yet they may even be less detailed than a Pendraken 10 doesn't bother me. If it was about quality of detail then 6mm and smaller would be pointless (not that im not saying there ain't nice 6mm models out there) Take my 10mm Doctor Who models as an example, they ain't amazing, I know that (first models, inc 25mm I ever sculpted tho!) but like the TV program, I can switch the quality detector off and Imagine Daleks rolling over bridges and into enemy territory, Cybermen strutting down hills, UNIT SMGs peppering the Daleks outer shell. And everyone who has seen my table covers in a time lord force heading towards the Daleks have all been very impressed.

Games workshop do good quality, but when £100 can get me one tank, and 20 men, this tiny force doesn't run my imagination wild.

What I'm saying is its about the setting, the amount of men, the imagination, the feel. Not so much the quality. I'm not saying quality ain't important at all, I'd rather have good than pants, but I can easy awe past that.
You're just a pathetic
bunch of tin soldiers,
skulking around the
galaxy in an ancient
spaceship!
