1) Longstreet
2) Union vs Confederate
3) I'm comfortable with the rules, but still at that stage where I forget some of them.
4) My third game and my third loss.  We're doing the campaign from the book so another seven games to go for that.

DanJ

1) Warmaster Ancients
2) Early Byzantines (ammended list) Vs Arab Conquest
3) Yes - Played them for years, once you accept the styalised C&C mechanism they work very well
4) Played WMA since they came out

Flames of War last night.
Comprehensively run over by my old advisory. Great game all the same.
Now, what were the questions?

1) Flames of War
2) Hungarian Infantry vs Soviet Armour
3) Know the rules really well. Yes, there are many faults, but I still like them as a basic rules set.
4) Been playing since first edition years ago.

I played General de brigade, Rolica scenario, last week with a Russian friend, to explain to him the basics in Russian was for me a real challenge.

Last Night's Game:

1) Poor Bloody Infantry v3 (amended for hex tiles)
2) British v German, 1944 Normandy
3) Yes but we were a bit rusty
4) No - although it's been many months since we last played regularly

result:
Comprehensive British victory as the German attack was brought to a halt by a pair of well placed and dug in 6pdrs supported by a brace of MMGs - the supporting rifle platoons barely fired a shot

Last Game:

1) Poor Bloody Infantry v3 (amended for hex tiles)
2) British v German, 1944 Normandy
3) Yes (and we are less rusty now)
4) Not at all

result:
Comprehensive German victory as the British defence crumbled in the face of well handled combined infantry/armour tactics, this time the 6pdrs didn't have the same luck, being swept by concentrated MG fire before tank and infantry teams crushed the remaining infantry - the reinforcement platoon had little option other than to cover the retreat of the few remaining groups as the Germans settled into defensive positions around the crossroads and objectives.

Still fighting interwar Square Bashing. My Budenny cavalry army got well and truly thrashed by the Poles, despite my armoured train.

1)  Warmaster (every time),
2)  Skaven Vs Orc (cracking battle),
3)  Very comfortable but seem to find something new every time;
4)  Played with WM for about 3 years (since I got back into wargaming after a 10 year break).

Great questions :-bd

Hail Ceaser

Seleucid vs Romans

though I must get Warmaster Fantasy  out again
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

Lemmey - do you use the basic rules, or any add ons?
I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain why you are wrong.

1) What ruleset do you use in your last game?
Saga
2) What armies were confronted?
2 x Anglo Saxon vs 2 x Viking
3) Did you feel comfortable with the ruleset?
Yes, my first game with them, and I thought they played well, once you got your head around the battle board, the rest was simple. Unit of Ceorl bowmen beating two elite, tooled up Huscarls three times in combat (my opponets dice were shocking, mine were AWESOME), then retreating to hold the sacred ground made them men of the match!
4) and... was the first time do you use the ruleset?
Yes. Liked it though.
