I've put up an AAR of my first solo game of Dux Bellorum. I haven't got any figures yet, so have been suing some counters to get a feel of the game. Already this has given me an idea of what I need to order for the various warbands I'm thinking of.

Nicely done Steve - now get that order in so we can see your next batrep with figures  8)

Nice one Steve ;)

I have been doing this in 10mm (Sea Raiders - Vikings) v Saxons in 10mm using FOG bases and it works well. Saying that I do have quite abit of 28mm for Saga and am now able to field Scots, Irish, Saxons and Vikings which gives me a bit more choice army wise, at least until Pendraken do some more suitable figures for the ranges in question
I don't think my wife likes me very much, when I had a heart attack she wrote for an ambulance.

Good report Steve  :)
I bought the rulebook a couple of months ago & read though the rules which I thought looked fun, but got no further. This has inspired me to have a bash.
I'll use counters to try it out but you can't beat the real thing can you.
Sadly no longer with us - RIP (2018)

Thanks guys :). If any one wants the counters drop me a PM and I'll bung over a pdf or odg file if that helps?

They beat my effort of scrawling in pen on some unused MDF bases.

Dead simple to do:

- Print out counters onto A4 paper.
- Spray mount paper to plastic or card backing, or alternatively use double sided tape (more durable).
- Cut counters out.
- Play game with counters :).

I'm no graphics whizz, all I did was copy some free flags of the Web, re-size to appropriate base size in any graphics or Word type package, then add text over the top. Simples.
